A cute little French cafe, Laduree sits above the square by Covent Garden Apple Market and is a breath of fresh air away from the throngs of crowds.
It’s a bit of squeeze but a lovely place to while away the afternoon and get to know your date whilst enjoying a macaroon or three. It really has got that French feel to it with it’s pastel green and pink striped decor and chandeliers.
Try to sit on the outside terrace where you can see the entertainment in Covent Garden square, which will provide a backdrop for any silent moments on your date.
The menu is a little pricey but serves a good selection of lunch options and tea time snacks. I enjoyed a pot of tea served in a silver teapot and a salted caramel macaroon. I just need another date for an excuse to go back!
