Some of you may think that bingo halls are old fashioned, only for old ladies or hen do’s and generally just not your scene. You’re wrong, well, half wrong. I admit Bingo has a lot of stigma about it, it is full of old ladies but is also full of characters. Yes the halls are bit old fashioned but it’s still a lot of fun, definitely not a game to be sniffed at, especially for a date.

I’d heard great things from friends about Doodle Club so I knew I was on to a winner when I went there on recent date. I met my date at Kings Cross and to get the evening going, we started out at the Big Chill Bar with a few drinks and then set off to the doodle club to continue the evening of fun and frolics.
Sitting in Brixton’s up and coming Market Row, Franco Manca’s does one of the best pizzas in town. You can tell that we’re not lying by the queue of people always outside.
Sitting above the Jubilee market in Covent Garden, Meat Market is the sister restaurant of the trendy pop up Meat Liquor near Oxford Street. Like Meat Liquor, Meat Market serves up burgers, hot dogs, fries and shakes and luckily Meat Market is less well known so we had no problem getting a table.
