Nestled behind Waterloo station on the corner of Lower Marsh Street sits Cubana, a lively Cuban bar with delicious cocktails, live music and tasty food. I don’t think I’ve been to a another bar in London as many times as I’ve been to Cubana which shows how much I love it!

I’d heard great things from friends about Doodle Club so I knew I was on to a winner when I went there on recent date. I met my date at Kings Cross and to get the evening going, we started out at the Big Chill Bar with a few drinks, then set off to the doodle club to continue the evening of fun and frolics.
This has long been one of my favourite London hide-outs, so when I ended up near Waterloo on a recent date, I immediately thought to come to ScooterCaffè.
With a rich history, it’s no surprise that London Bridge has some of London’s most popular tourist attractions in London. The London Dungeons or London Bridge Experience can be good fun to kick off a date but be warned, they’re both quite expensive so we wouldn’t recommend going unless you have a 2 for 1 deal or love hanging out with a coach load Spanish kids. However away from the overpriced bars on the river and the throngs of people queueing for the London Dungeons there are some great places to go on a date.
