Sitting in Brixton’s up and coming Market Row, Franco Manca’s does one of the best pizzas in town. You can tell that we’re not lying by the queue of people always outside.
We admit that this isn’t oozing romance, but it’s great value for money and the pizzas are out of this world. This restaurant is simplicity at it’s best, with a small menu of sourdough pizzas which are topped with a choice seasonal vegetables, cured meats and Italian cheeses. Also try the delicious homemade organic lemonade while you’re there.
This isn’t one to go to if you’re looking for a long leisurely dinner as although the service is friendly, you aren’t encouraged to hang about. We recommend you enjoying a tasty pizza here, then moving next door to Seven at Brixton for a cocktail.
Franco Manca has grown vastly in popularity and now has restaurants in many more locations – Brixton, Clapham Junction, Westfield (Stratford) and Chiswick.
