I had high hopes of Bocca Di Lupo after my date spent the journey there raving about it. And luckily for him, I wasn’t disappointed.
This beautiful Italian restaurant is stylish, buzzing and served some of the best Italian food that I’ve tasted in London. We were seated at the bar which felt really relaxed and reminded me of eating out in New York.
All the dishes on the menu sounded amazing but our delightful waitress gave us some great recommendations about what we should try. You have the choice of ordering a main meal or choosing a tapas style option and trying a few smaller plates. We decided on the latter and went for a selection of dishes. The risotto with asparagus, gorgonzola & toasted hazelnuts was just delicious, while my date absolutely loved the veal & pork agnolotti (pasta parcels) with walnut sauce. There are too many dishes to list here but everything we ate was outstanding.
Just down the road is Bocca Di Lupo’s gelato shop Gelupo serving some seriously good gelato which is the ideal something for afters to polish you off.
If you’re a fan of Italian food then I highly recommend this place. The staff were charming and attentive and the place had a great atmosphere. It is a very popular restaurant so booking is a must, but if you’re in the area and need somewhere to eat then you can always try your luck.
